The event comprises two main elements: The Magical Journey and The Magical Village.
The Magical Journey
Join Petal, the cheeky Christmas tree fairy, on a magical adventure to the Magical Village where Father Christmas is running out of Christmas magic and needs your help. Your adventure starts in the Stately Entrance Hall of Lord and Lady Poopdeck-Widdle. From the top of their Christmas tree, Petal has just received a call from the big man himself, Father Christmas. The Christmas magic is running out and he needs your help! With a little bit of fairy dust Petal transforms the fireplace into a portal to the Magical Village.
Follow Petal through this magical journey where you will meet Lester the elf and be checked if you have been naughty or nice this year (parents included!), before being dazzled by the amazing toy machine in the Toy Workshop. Finally, in the Magical Forest, Father Christmas welcomes you and shows you how you can help him restore the magic of Christmas.
- The Magical Journey is a performance-based ‘journey’ at the beginning of the event which all guests will experience;
- Guests will pass through a series of five areas in groups of approximately 80, entertained and accompanied by actors/performers as a magical story unfolds;
- At the end of the journey Father Christmas will appear and address the group as a whole (Please note: There will not be the opportunity for guests to have one-to-one interaction with Father Christmas);
- Estimated duration of The Magical Journey is 25 minutes;
- Following The Magical Journey all guests will progress to The Magical Village.
- The Magic of Christmas is a timed entry event. This means that guests will enter at a given time through The Magical Journey and thereafter will have the opportunity to explore The Magical Village at their leisure. Please note that you should allow for approximately three hours at The Magic of Christmas.
- During the daytime, it is not possible to enter the The Magical Village separately to The Magical Journey. However, between 5pm and 7pm each day, you may enter The Magical Village free of charge to shop at the Christmas and Food Markets.
